have developed an original methodology which is based on concepts from law
and economics, and game theory. The information to support the assessment
is mined from law, economics, journalism and history. The methodology can
be used in any jurisdiction where the information is available. The result
of this appraisal is an accurate analysis of legal risk, which like
economic and political risk should be the basis of any investment decision
in the global market place.
LIMIT RISK and ADD VALUE
We add value by reviewing potential
direct investments, indirect investments and indirect investment strategies
for legal risk; reviewing contracts, joint ventures, and agreements for
probability of enforcement and alternative strategies of enforcement. We
also assist clients in developing country strategies, forecasting of
potential economic growth, the probability of legal reform, changes after
local elections, legal updates and strategies for dispute resolutions. Our
advice is based on twenty years of extensive research, original theories in
law, economics, game theory, theories of collective action and hard won

William Gamble, president of Emerging Market Strategies had
been investing internationally for over twenty years. An international
lawyer and economist, he developed his theories beginning with his first
hand experience and business dealings in the Russia starting in 1993. Mr.
Gamble holds two graduate law degrees. He was educated at Institute
D'Etudes Politique, Trinity
College, University
of Miami School of Law, and University of Virginia Darden Graduate School
of Business Administration. He was a member of the bar in three states,
over four different federal courts and has spoken four languages. His work
is published in journals and newspapers. He has appeared on numerous
television and radio programs and been quoted in newspapers and magazines in
